ASUS Shows New ROG Strix OLED XG32UCDS 4K Gaming Screen

ASUS just let out a fresh OLED screen in the ROG Strix line, called XG32UCDS. It's made for gaming but also has top color detail and tech to stop screen burn-in, good for making content too.

Main Screen Info

The screen uses a 31.5-inch OLED panel and has these main facts:

  • Screen Size: 4K (3840x2160 pixels)
  • Fast Rate: 165 Hz
  • Fast Answer Time: 0.03ms (GtG)
  • Top Light: 600 cd/m²
  • Color Range: 99% DCI-P3
  • Sync Tech: NVIDIA G-SYNC okay

OLED Care and Anti-Burn-In Tech

To face screen burn-in, ASUS put in their own OLED Care Pro tech. This has many safe steps:

  • A part that turns the screen off if you step away.
  • Move tech, which shifts pixels a bit to keep images from sticking due to non-move UI parts.
  • Auto light tuning for logos and other on-screen bits that don't change.

Gaming Add-ons

The screen has some cool tools to make gaming better:

  • Smart Crosshair: Changes the aim dot color to stand out against the game scene.
  • Smart Shadow Lift: Makes dark spots brighter to spot targets well.
  • AI Visual: Picks the best screen mode for what's on show.

Plug-ins and Ease of Use

The ROG Strix OLED XG32UCDS links with a DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and a USB Type-C that also does DisplayPort Alt mode and can push up to 90 watts.

The base lets you tilt 5° forward and 20° back, turn ±25°, and move up to 110 mm.

Cost and When to Buy

ASUS will share the cost and when you can buy the ROG Strix OLED XG32UCDS later.
