Battlefield 6's Big Reveal Date Set for July 24
Electronic Arts has now set the date when they will show the new big update in their war game series. The first look at Battlefield 6 will be on Thursday, July 24, at 8 AM Pacific Time / 11 AM Eastern Time / 5 PM Central European Time. The official tagline for the trailer says "Get ready for the top fight experience in Battlefield 6."
Open Beta and Early Play Info
After many hints, it has been shared that fans can soon play the game. An Open Beta for Battlefield 6 will start in early August, letting people try it first. Before this, a few chosen fans from Battlefield Labs have tested early versions of the game in the last few months. Some of this test play has also been seen online.
Main Points and Game Making
Four big teams are working on Battlefield 6 DICE, Motive, Criterion, and Ripple Effect Studios. They have shared some big parts of the new game:
- New Breakable World: Players can break the world around them, changing how the fight goes. Fallen bits from broken buildings stay on the map and serve as hiding spots.
- Full Single-Player Tale: Unlike the game before it, Battlefield 2042, this one will have a whole story to play alone. Motive Studios is leading this, taking ideas from movies like Civil War and the TV show Lioness.
Expectations and Time to Come Out
People are very excited for Battlefield 6, more so after the different views on Battlefield 2042. Electronic Arts hopes a lot from this game, with plans to spend $400 million and reach 100 million players.
While EA says the game will come out in this fiscal year, the early August Open Beta hints that it may come soon. Complete and official details will be shared when they reveal the game on July 24.
