Beelink Updates EQi12 Mini PC with New Intel i5 1235U Option

Beelink has made their EQi12 mini PC line new with a build that uses the Intel Core i5 1235U chip. The company says this new chip from the Alder Lake-U series does a better and quieter job than the older Core i5 12450H model. You can buy this new version all over the world, and prices start at $319.

Better Speed and Less Noise

Beelink points out some key good points of the 1235U setup. From tests they ran, the new model does much better in tests that need good graphics:

  • Time Spy Score: 41.33% up
  • Fire Strike Score: 25.56% up

This boost is mostly because it has a stronger built-in GPU. The Core i5 1235U has Intel Xe Graphics G7 with 80 EUs, much more than the Xe G4 with 48 EUs in the 12450H. Also, the new model makes up to 8% less noise when it runs.

Same Looks and Ways to Connect

Even with the new chip, other parts of the EQi12 are the same. The mini PC still has an 85W built-in power unit and the MSC 2.0 cooling system. The types of ports are the same too, with these:

  • 3x USB Type-A (10 Gbps)
  • 1x USB Type-A 2.0
  • 1x USB Type-C
  • 2x HDMI
  • 2x Ethernet
  • 1x 3.5 mm audio jack

Note, the USB Type-C port is just for moving data and can't do other tasks.

More Details and Prices

The system also has new WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless links. It can hold up to 32 GB of RAM and up to 4 TB of space. You can buy the Beelink EQi12 with the Core i5 1235U chip on the Beelink online store all over the world, starting at $319.
