NVIDIA Rolls Out GeForce Driver 576.88 with RTX 5050 and Mecha BREAK Support

NVIDIA has sent out a new GeForce Game Ready driver, numbered 576.88. This driver brings in proper support for the new GeForce RTX 5050 graphics cards. It also gives the start-up boost for the multiplayer mech game, Mecha BREAK.

Mecha BREAK Boosts and Play

Mecha BREAK, a fresh third-person hero shooter on PC and Xbox Series S|X, stands as a key focus for this driver release. The game kicks off with full backing for NVIDIA DLSS 4, which includes Multi Frame Generation, Frame Generation, and Super Resolution.

This link leads to big boosts in performance. On GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, users can look for an average boost in how fast it runs of 4.6x when playing the game at 4K with all settings at high and DLSS Super Resolution on Performance Mode. Precise tests show the GeForce RTX 5090 hitting an average of 456 FPS, while the cheaper GeForce RTX 5070 goes over 200 FPS.

This driver also backs the game's varied modes, like the new PvPvE gathering mode, Mashmak. Here, up to ten teams of three land on a big 16x16 km map to collect stuff, beat NPC bosses and other teams, and flee via few exit points before a constant, shrinking Corite Pulse Storm gets them.

More DLSS 4 Backing for Other Games

This driver also lists more games that now have or will soon keep up with NVIDIA's new tech.

  • Diablo IV Seasons of Horadrim The game's ninth season update now has a built-in setting for NVIDIA DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation. Before, RTX 50 Series owners had to turn on this via the NVIDIA app.
  • Still Wakes the Deep A new free update for this first-person horror game, which came out with the Siren's Rest add-on, added DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation.
  • NTE (Neverness to Everness) The new online action RPG from Hotta Studio will have DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation in its Closed Beta, starting this Thursday and running until July 16.
