OnePlus Puts Out 43mm Watch 3 as a Small, Cheap Choice
OnePlus has just put out the 43mm Watch 3, a new smartwatch that acts as a small, less costly pick over the big 46mm one. This new gear is the same as the Oppo Watch X2 mini and will be sold all over the world.
Main Changes from the 46mm Model
The big shifts in the 43mm type have to do with its small size and how that affects its parts:
- Size and Weight: It has a thinner face and a lighter build, at just 37.8 grams.
- Screen: The screen is smaller at 1.32 inches, not as big as the 1.5-inch screen on the bigger one.
- Battery Life: The battery holds less, lasting up to 7 days in low-use mode, a big drop from the 16 days the 46mm can do.
- Health Checks: It can't check body heat, so the 60-second health look is not there on this 43mm type.
Shared Main Parts
In spite of the changes, the main tech is the same as in the bigger top model. The 43mm OnePlus Watch 3 runs on the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 SoC with a BES2800 MCU chip. It also has 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of built-in space.
For keeping fit, the watch can track over 100 sports and spot six types of moves on its own.
Cost and When You Can Buy It
The 43mm OnePlus Watch 3 is up for sale now on the OnePlus site.
- OnePlus Watch 3 (43mm): $299.99
- OnePlus Watch 3 (46mm): $349.99
While there are no deals right now for the new smartwatch, OnePlus does have a trade-in deal for those who want one.
