Resident Evil Re:Verse Servers Are Now Gone

Capcom has ended all help for the multiplayer game Resident Evil Re:Verse. The game's servers were shut down on June 30, and now no one can play it. This move came after the game was taken off online stores and its in-game shop was closed in spring 2025.

The Last Player Count

The call to close the servers came after not many people were playing. On its last day, only 96 players were on at once. The most players it ever had at one time was 2,100.

Hard Times and Bad Feedback

Resident Evil Re:Verse came out in October 2022 for the 25th birthday of the series. A few facts:

  • Platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
  • Sold: Both on its own and with Resident Evil Village as a bonus.
  • Play: Players fought in matches shooting each other to get points.
  • Feedback: Since the start, players did not like the little content and ongoing tech issues.

The end of this game is Capcom's latest stop in trying to make a good multiplayer game in the Resident Evil world.
