Transcend Rolls Out New Top MTE260S PCIe Gen5 SSD

Transcend has put a new high-speed drive on its list, the MTE260S SSD. This fresh tool works with the PCIe Gen5 spot and fits with the NVMe 2.0 rule, made to give fast data move speeds for top gaming PCs and AI tech work spots.

Speed and Power

The MTE260S aims for the best speed. Based on Transcend, the main speed points for the drive are:

  • Read Speed in a line: Up to 14,000 MB/s.
  • Write Speed in a line: Up to 11,000 MB/s.
  • Mixed Speed: 1.4 million IOPS.

The drive's use of the new PCIe 5.0 NVMe tech, which has a band of 32 GT/s, aims to cut down game load times and the move times for big files a lot.

Tool and Heat Tech

At the heart of the MTE260S is a low-use 6nm controller. For cooling, the drive has a very thin graphene heat sink, made to get rid of heat well to keep speed up even with big loads.

Tech and Keeping Up

Users can look after the MTE260S with the Transcend Scope tech. This tool gives many ways to help, like checking the drive's state, doing software updates, turning on TRIM help, and making speed better.

Sizes You Can Get

The Transcend MTE260S will come in 1TB and 2TB kinds. The maker has not told the price of the new drive yet.
