Asus Shows Off AMD Model of ExpertBook P3 Work Laptop
Asus has now put out AMD-run setups for its ExpertBook P3 work laptop group. You can find new ones in 13-inch and 16-inch types, with the newest Ryzen AI 300 Pro series CPUs as an option.
CPU and Visuals
These fresh ones can come with AMD's Ryzen AI 300 Pro "Krackan point" CPUs like the Ryzen AI 7 Pro 350, Ryzen AI 5 Pro 340, and Ryzen AI 5 Pro 330. One must note that the Asus site shows these as their non-Pro twins. For visuals, the laptops use the built-in Radeon iGPU, as they lack a stand-alone GPU choice.
Screen and Shape
The AMD-made ExpertBook P3 is up in 13-inch (PM3406) and 16-inch (PM3606) models. Users can pick from two screen resolutions:
- WUXGA (1920 x 1200)
- WQXGA (2560 x 1600)
RAM, Drive, and Core Use
The laptops can hold up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM via SO-DIMM slots and offer up to 1 TB of solid-state driving space. For safety and video calls, they have a 1080p cam with a built-in IR eye for face ID and a slide-to-shut lid.
Link Up Choices
They've got a full set of ports and wireless ways:
- Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 7
- Bluetooth 5.4
- Two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C ports
- Two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports
- One HDMI slot
- One RJ45 Ethernet slot
- A 3.5 mm combo sound jack
Power and Fill Up
You can pick a 70 Wh or a 50 Wh battery. A 65-watt charger is the norm, but a strong 90-watt one is an extra choice.
Cost and When You Can Get It
Asus hasn't told us how much these AMD models will be yet. But if we look at the Intel one, they might start around $800. More details on when you can get them should come out soon.
