Brilliant Labs Shows New Halo Smart Glasses with AI for $299
The group from Canada, Brilliant Labs, has made a new thing to wear called Halo - smart glasses with AI help built in. They say the AI, which they call Noa, can talk almost like a real human. You can buy it for $299.
What the Halo Glasses Do
The Halo aims to fit all its tech into a small, light frame, just 40 grams. The main tech and tool stuff include:
- Noa AI Assistant: An AI that works with the device's camera and mic to get what's being talked about for easy chats.
- Built-in Tools: The glasses have a camera, mic, color OLED screens, and speakers that work by sending sound through the bones in your head.
- Battery Life: You can use it for up to 14 hours when charged.
Keeping Things Safe and Yours
Brilliant Labs puts a big focus on keeping your stuff just yours. The device lets you:
- Keep Private: Talks with the Noa assistant stay private all the time.
- Voice Commands: You can use your voice to make the mic quiet, stop the camera, or turn off the glasses.
- Make Apps: They say you can make new apps for the glasses with just voice commands.
