Google's Latest Hardware Lineup: Pixel 10 Series, Fold, Watch 4, and Buds 2a
During its "Made by Google" event, Google announced the next generation of devices, including the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Pixel Watch 4, and Pixel Buds 2a. Another noteworthy development for these devices is the introduction of Google's new TSMC-made Tensor G5 chip, which will provide performance boosts and smarter AI capabilities across the product range.
Google Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro
Coming from a family of designs that has been core to the brand, features of the Pixel 10 series include brilliant display and exemplary camera improvements and more overall performance.
- Display: The Pixel 10 has a 6.3-inch Actua Display with 3,000 nits peak brightness. Pro models feature Super Actua Display that reaches up to 3,300 nits.
- Camera (Pixel 10 Pro/XL): It includes hardware same as last year's but is now receiving a new ISP and better autofocus. Improved low light performance and improvements in video smoothness are the outcome. 50MP Main Camera Enhanced Optical Image Stabilization.
- Camera (Pixel 10): The standard model receives a strong upgrade with a new 10.8MP telephoto lens providing 5x optical and 20x Super Res Zoom.
- Performance: All the variants will use the Tensor G5 chip. The Pixel 10 will feature 12GB of RAM, while the Pro versions will boast 16GB.
- Battery: Battery capacities are 4,970mAh for the Pixel 10, 4,870mAh for the 10 Pro, and 5,200mAh for the Pro XL, promising use of over 30 hours.
- Charging: The series introduces the Qi2 wireless charging standard and "Pixelsnap," a magnetic system similar to MagSafe. The Pro XL supports up to 25W wireless charging.
New AI Camera Features
New AI-driven gadgets include 'Camera Coach,' an immediate framing feedback agent and the 'Auto Best Take,' which selects the finest facial expressions from a burst of photos. Further Gemini integration happens for better performance in voice recognition and context-aware suggestions.
Pixel 10 Pricing and Availability
- Pixel 10: Starting from $799 (128GB) and $899 (256GB).
- Pixel 10 Pro: Starts from $999.
- Pixel 10 Pro XL: Starting from $1,199.

Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold
Powered by the Tensor G5 SoC, Google's latest foldable device features updated battery capacities and performance.
- Panels: An 8-inch inner OLED display (2076 x 2152) and a more generous 6.4-inch outer OLED display, both with adaptive refresh rates of 120Hz.
- Battery and Charging: A 5,015mAh battery is being topped off by 30W wired and 15W wireless charging (Qi2 with Pixelsnap).
- Cameras: A 48MP wide, 10.2MP ultrawide, and 10.8MP telephoto lens provide 5x optical zoom.
- IP68 certified against water and dust durability.
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold retails at $1,799. Pre-orders are available in Moonstone and Jade colors. The device will only ship in October 2025.
Google Pixel Watch 4
The smartwatch includes a larger screen area, satellite connectivity, and improved health tracking.
- Design: It ranges from 41 to 45 mm with a curved Actua 360 display that is 10% larger and 50% brighter (3,000 nits), and that battery and display are now serviceable.
- Performance: Powered by the Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 Platform and a next-gen ML co-processor, battery life is estimated at 30 hours for 41mm devices and 40 hours for 45mm ones.
- Connectivity: LTE models are capable of standalone support for emergency satellite communications.
- Health Tracking: New Skin Temperature sensor, dual-frequency GPS for improved route tracking, and automatic detection of workouts such as basketball and pickleball are some of the new features.
- AI Health Coach: A new AI-powered health and fitness coaching service that operates 24/7, a preview of which will be visible in select U.S. locations this October.
Pixel Watch 4 starts at $349 for Wi-Fi only and $449 for LTE. Available for preorder now, with an in-store release on October 9.
Google Pixel Buds 2a
These new earbuds inherit premium features from the Pro line at a lower price point.
- Key Features: Now includes ANC, Transparency Mode, and the Tensor A1 audio chip, as well as support for Bluetooth Super Wideband for clearer calls on compatible Pixel phones.
- Design: Revamped design that resembles Pixel Buds Pro 2 will support twist-to-adjust stabilizers for a better fit.
- Battery: Up to 7 hours of playback with ANC (20 hours total with case) and 10 hours without ANC (27 hours total with case). The case does not support wireless charging.
Pixel Buds 2a shall be pre-ordered at the price of $129, available in Iris and Hazel colors, and will be available in October.
