New Video for Lost Soul Aside Shows Many Weapons and Fight Moves
With the game coming out in August, the team behind Lost Soul Aside put out a new video. It shows the weapons you can pick and how to switch them fast in a fight.
Four Main Weapon Types
The video tells us about four main kinds of weapons. Each works best for a certain way of fighting:
- Sword: Made for quick, sharp hits.
- Greatsword: A big, slow weapon with huge power.
- Poleblade: Good for fast, strong hits on foes.
- Scythe: Great for smart, sharp moves.
A key thing shown is changing weapons mid-fight. You can, for example, hit a foe up, then switch weapons to hit them down hard, all in one go.
Changing Weapons and Growing Your Character
Lost Soul Aside mixes in role-playing with the action. Each weapon can be made better with special bits you find.
- Weapon Bits: These can change how a weapon looks, make it hit harder or heal, and let the hero, Kaser, fight in new ways. You can try out different mixes.
- Skill Tree: Kaser gets new skills and powers through a Skill Tree. These skills, like more power, better healing, or safety shields, come from his dragon friend, Arena.
More on Fighting
The fighting in the game also has more layers:
- Timed Hits: Hit at the right time in combos for extra strong hits.
- Fusion Gauge: Fill this by landing hits and using skills. When full, it lets you call on Arena’s claws for powerful strikes. You can make this skill better as you play more.
When to Get It
After working on it for over ten years, first by Yang Bing alone, Lost Soul Aside will come out on August 29. It will be ready for PC and PlayStation 5.
