NVIDIA Makes Big Move with New 2U Server Styles
After announcing the RTX PRO 4000 SFF and RTX PRO 2000, NVIDIA also announced that the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPU is now available to buy in 2U server configurations from top server makers. This change lets more data places use the NVIDIA Blackwell design, speeding up the move from old CPU setups to faster computing types.
Big Partners and More Choices
Big names like Cisco, Dell, HPE, Lenovo, and Supermicro will sell these 2U NVIDIA RTX PRO Servers. Now, firms all over the world can pick from many styles to use faster computing in the most common server setups.
Big Wins for Work Types
The new servers are made to boost GPU speed for many work types. They help with:
- Smart AI
- Making content and making graphics
- Studying data
- Doing science tests
- Industrial and real-world AI
With GPU speed, these RTX PRO Servers do a lot better than just CPU systems, giving up to 45x better work and 18x more power save. This cuts total costs a lot.
Key Part for AI Centers
These 2U units are a new kind of in-house tool, boosting the work of the Blackwell design for firms making AI centers, even in tight spots.
The servers also help run the NVIDIA AI Data Setup. For instance, at SIGGRAPH Dell talked about updated to its AI Data setup, using NVIDIA's plans and two RTX PRO 6000 GPUs in Dell PowerEdge R7725 2U servers.
More RTX PRO Servers to Pick From
These new 2U types join more RTX PRO Servers first shown at COMPUTEX. The full set of server styles can now use two, four, or eight NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPUs, giving firms many ways to get the best speed and power use.
