OneXPlayer Super X Full Details Emerge, Strix Halo Performance Showcased

OneXPlayer has released the complete specifications for the new Super X convertible gaming tablet. This new device will be powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 "Strix Halo" APU, and the company shared some performance demos showing the gaming prowess of the device.

Hardware and Connectivity

Despite its compact, convertible tablet form factor, OneXPlayer Super X will feature an impressive port assortment. The confirmed configuration consists of:

  • Two full-featured USB4 ports
  • One USB 3.2 Type-A port
  • One HDMI 2.1 port
  • One 3.5 mm audio jack

Unlike the OneXPlayer X1 Pro, this model will not have an OCuLink port since the graphics performance of the integrated solution of its APU is powerful.

Gaming Performance with Ryzen AI Max+ 395

At the heart of the Super X lies the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 APU with Radeon 8060S integrated GPU based on RDNA 3.5 architecture. This integrated solution is considered comparable to laptop RTX 4070. OneXPlayer has also stated that the device can run its APU at a 120W TDP.

Performance demos have shown the handheld running multiple modern titles at high frame rates at full 120W:

  • Cyberpunk 2077 average of 85-90 FPS
  • Stellar Blade average of 102-90 FPS
  • Expedition 33 average of 110-99 FPS
  • Forza Horizon 5 average of 140-130 FPS

Kickstarter Launch Information

While the official date of launch remains to be announced, OneXPlayer stated that the Kickstarter for the Super X is planned for the end of September 2025.
