Xbox at gamescom 2025 What to Expect from the Live Showcase
With the conclussion of the Opening Night Live event at gamescom, Microsoft kicked off the first package in the Xbox @ gamescom 2025 live stream. This showcase, beginning on Wednesday, August 20, at 6 a.m. PT / 9 a.m. ET, promises first-time gameplay footage, new trailers, and extensive interviews with developers.
During the anticipated livestream, it will be expected to give updates on some long-awaited titles and hardware with maybe some last-minute surprises from partner studios.
Hollow Knight: Silksong Updates
Hollow Knight: Silksong is one of the major interest points. High hopes are entertained after Opening Night Live seemingly confirmed a 2025 launch. It's very probable that the complete release date is saved up for Team Cherry's own presentation, but a quick teaser or short glimpse coming from the Xbox show is within the realm of possibilities.
Xbox Ally Handheld News
The first reveal for the Xbox Ally and Ally X handhelds is expected. Most likely, some formal information will come out regarding the release date or at least the pre-order date for these new pieces of hardware during the showcase.

Xbox confirmed Day 1 will showcase some gameplay of Grounded 2, Keeper, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. There have also been some suggestions saying, "there will be a couple more surprises at the show from our partners too."
