Atari has announced the soon-to-be-released Gamestation Go with a price tag of $179, in conjunction with its My Arcade brand. As licensed portable consoles, Gamestation Go systems are for those nostalgic for ye olden days of gaming-the bulk of it is preloaded with a library of over 200 classic games.
Features of the Gamestation Go
With a modern flair on a classic layout, the newest handheld flaunts its characteristics:
- Display: a 7-inch screen
- Controls: an original control layout with a rotating dial, a digital pad, and SmartGlow smart lighting, glowing from buttons pertinent to game requirements
- Games Library: with over 200 loaded classics, the collection includes titles like Pac-Man, Asteroids: Recharged, Missile Command: Recharged, and favorites from the golden days of Atari 2600, 5200, and 7800-close to heart arcades of that era.
- Battery Life: The manufacturer claims the built-in battery gives 4 to 5 hours of gameplay time on a single charge.
Pricing and Release Date
$179 is the retail price of the Atari Gamestation Go in the United States; the first orders are set to arrive in October 2025.
