By using a hex editor, users discovered that, buried beneath the visible text, a website link had been hidden. This link took users to an image of a single coin, but the file name of the image bears several important indications:
- A Date and Time: The file mentions the date "September 4, 17:00 MSK."
- A Code Message: Also included in the file: "wigvixQWK." If we shift every alphabet letter backward by four positions, this decodes to "secretMSG".
Future Context
The cryptic teaser arrives while CD Projekt is further along with the actual development of the full sequel to Cyberpunk 2077. There are also unconfirmed rumors that the next game may have two separate cities, expanding beyond the familiar territory of Night City.
