Lenovo Announces Legion Laptop & LOQ Desktop with AMD CPUs & RTX 50 GPUs
Lenovo strikes again with its flagship Legion laptop and LOQ Desktop powered by new AMD CPUs and RTX 50 GPUs. The gaming line-up is already expanded by Lenovo with the launching of the Legion Pro 7 16-inch laptop and the LOQ Tower desktop PC. It has incorporated the latest AMD Ryzen 9000HX "Fire Range" CPUs in the laptop. For the desktop, there is a uniqueness in that it has very recently attached the Ryzen 8000HX mobile processors. Both machines are powered by NVIDIA's upcoming RTX 50 GPUs.
Lenovo Legion Pro 7 16-inch Laptop
The refreshed Legion Pro 7 is mainly aimed at high-performance gaming. It can be coupled with AMD's Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor, featuring 3D V-Cache technology, alongside up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 laptop GPU.

- Cooling: Legion Coldfront vapor chamber design with two fans, supporting a maximum of 275W TDP.
- Display: 4K PureSight WQXGA OLED display of 240Hz refresh rate and 0.08ms response time on a16-inches.
- Memory & Storage: 32 GB of DDR5-5600 memory and maximally up to 2 TB of Gen5 storage.
- Battery & Power: 99.9Wh battery with Super Rapid Charge capability and paired with a 400W power adapter.
- Connectivity: Many ports, including USB-C (10 Gbps), USB-A, HDMI 2.1, a LAN port, WIFI 7, and Bluetooth 5.4.
- Features: RGB keyboard.

Lenovo LOQ Tower Desktop PC
In a remarkable development, the Lenovo LOQ Tower 26ADR10 desktop uses its line of mobile CPUs from AMD, the Ryzen 8000HX "Dragon Range Refresh". This brings together an impressive combination of mobile CPU, such as the 8-core Ryzen 7 8745HX, and a full desktop NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card.
Key Specifications:
- CPU Configuration: Mobile Ryzen 7 8745HX processor can be tweaked up to 75W.
- Memory & Storage: Configurable memory, up to 64 GB DDR5-5200; 4 TB PCIe Gen4 SSD; and 2 HDD expansion slots.
- Chassis & Cooling: A new LOQ chassis which has an array of vents in the front and top, and on top of that, several RGB-lit fans.
- Power Supply: It can have an up to an 850W power supply.
The Lenovo LOQ Tower should be sold next month, starting at €999.
New Legion Pro OLED Gaming Monitors
Lenovo also launched a new legion of monitors under the name Legion Pro OLED gaming monitors, where each of these monitors carries color coverage by 99% for sRGB/DCI-P3, Dolby Vision, HDR TrueBlack 400, and both AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and VESA Adaptive Sync compatibility.
- Legion Pro 32UD-10 31.5-inch 4K UHD (3840x2160) OLED monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time. This model will be available in November for €899.
- Legion Pro 27UD-10 26.5-inch in the same 4K 240Hz specification. Available in October for €859.
- Legion Pro 27Q-10: It is an OLED QHD (2560x1440) monitor with a refresh rate of 280Hz. This model will be available in November for €599.
All three models share a new design with a smaller stand as well as similar port selection, which includes HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB Type-C.
