Poco To Launch 4GB RAM M7 Plus, Limited Edition
Poco has confirmed that a low-cost tweak to the M7 Plus smartphone will be released in a few weeks. The limited-edition model has 4GB of RAM and will be available only on Flipkart in India.
Great New Budget Option
When the Poco M7 Plus was launched in August, it came in the 6GB and 8GB RAM variants. The new 4GB version is now considered to be the most budget-friendly option in the lineup. As per the announcement by Poco India, the device will come with a price tag of less than ₹11,000 (~$129).
This is indeed an attractive price compared to the launch prices for the existing models of ₹13,999 (~$149) for the 6GB variant and ₹14,999 (~$179) for the 8GB variant. The actual price of the 4GB model will be revealed on September 15 at 7 PM IST.
Same Specifications for All Edition
The limited edition M7 Plus from Poco, apart from the lowered RAM capacity, bears the same hardware as its counterparts. The specifications include:
- Display: 6.9-inch FHD+ (2340 x 1080) LCD panel with 144Hz refresh rate and protection of Gorilla Glass 3.
- Processor: Snapdragon 6s Gen 3.
- Storage: 128GB (expandable).
- Battery: The humongous 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 33W fast charging and 18W reverse wired charging.
- Cameras: A rear 50MP f/1.8 main camera and an 8MP camera in the front.
- Software: HyperOS 2, promising 2 major Android updates, and 4 subsequent years of security updates.
- More: Side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IR blaster, Wi-Fi 5, and IP64 dust and water resistance rating.
Availability
The 4GB limited edition Poco M7 Plus will go for sale on Flipkart during the Big Billion Days sale, which commences on September 23. Presently, the information suggests that this variant would be exclusive to the Indian market.
