Xiaomi Opens HyperOS 3 Beta Program to Global Users

Following the initial beta release in China in late August 2025, Xiaomi has now started recruiting testers for its HyperOS 3 beta program internationally. Global users with eligible devices can now enroll to test the new software through the official Xiaomi Community app.

Eligible Devices for the HyperOS 3 Beta

The program will roll out in waves. The initial list includes eight Xiaomi and Redmi devices:

  • Xiaomi 15S Pro
  • Xiaomi 15
  • Xiaomi 15 Pro
  • Xiaomi 15 Ultra
  • Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro 12.5
  • Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro
  • Redmi K80 Pro (Poco F7 Ultra in global markets)
  • Redmi K80 Ultra

A second wave of seven devices will join the beta program starting September 17:

  • Xiaomi TV S Pro Mini-LED
  • Xiaomi TV S Pro Mini-LED 2025
  • Redmi K Pad
  • Redmi K80 (Poco F7 Pro in global markets)
  • Xiaomi Pad 7
  • Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra
  • Xiaomi Mix Flip 2

Xiaomi also stated that more devices will be added to the eligibility list on September 30, 2025.

Key Points to Note Before Updating

Interested beta testers should heed Xiaomi's warning. Beta builds are not final; they may contain bugs or malfunction features along the way. After this, it is recommended to create a full backup of any files and data that should be saved before entering the program and installing this update.

Stable HyperOS 3 Release Date

But the wait won't be long for obtaining the stable version. As per some reports, Xiaomi may begin rolling out HyperOS 3's first stable build based on Android 16 starting September 24.
