Having stepped into the enthusiast gaming market, Crucial has produced another exciting memory, the Pro OC DDR5 memory. These new modules are specified to operate with a maximum speed of 6400 MT/s with a low latency of CL32, which in combination gives what Crucial claims are significant benefits for gaming performance.

Crucial made many aggressive performance claims based on its own testing. The company reportedly claims that the Pro OC DDR5-6400 kit can deliver:
- Up to 125% minimum FPS better in titles such as Watch Dogs: Legion when compared to a Crucial DDR5-5600 CL46 kit.
- Up to 38% higher minimum FPS as compared to a similarly clocked 6400 MT/s kit but with a higher CL38 latency.
- Up to 25% better overall frame rates in certain scenarios.
Of course, these tests were done on a defined system (Ryzen 7 9800X3D on an AMD X870 motherboard with EXPO enabled) for such calculations. Furthermore, the company stated that measures to enhance performance were seen in other titles such as Cyberpunk 2077 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, but gave no quantified numbers.
