Launch of the Redmi K Pad in a New 'Golden White' Colorway

Xiaomi has confirmed the introduction of a new "Golden White" colorway for the Redmi K Pad. It is said that a renewed version of this compact-size tablet will launch in China on October 23, 2025, at the same launch event for the upcoming Redmi K90 smartphone lineup and the Watch 6.

Aesthetic Refresh, Performance Remains Same

The new Golden White color seems to correspond to the "Flowing Gold White" version of the Redmi K90 Pro Max, so users will have a consistent aesthetic across the devices that they own. Other than this new color, the internal specifications of the Redmi K Pad will remain unchanged as for its original models launched in June 2025.

A Quick Introduction to the Redmi K Pad

For those yet unfamiliar with the device, the Redmi K Pad can qualify as a sub-flagship tablet in terms of performance and portability. Key features include:

  • Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 9400+, previous generation flagship chipset.
  • Display: Compact yet brightly lit 8.8-inch with a smooth 165 Hz refresh rate.
  • Main Strength: Due to its small size and high portability, it is famous for its battery life.

Global Availability

Previously, the Redmi K Pad had stayed limited in its scope of availability; later, in other regions, it was rebranded as the Xiaomi Pad Mini, making it available to a wider audience. However, it's yet unclear whether this new Golden White color option will be made available for the rebranded Xiaomi Pad Mini outside of China.
