Retroid Updates Pocket 6 Layout In Response To Customer Complaints
The day just after it suspended pre-sale of its Pocket 6 portable game console, Retroid brought it back with a new version that had a changed-out control layout to cater to complaints gamers had against the first design.
Redesigned Control Layout
The new Pocket 6 design comes with very thoughtful controls from user feedback. The following changes have been affected on it:
- The d-pad has been moved below the left analog stick as opposed to above it.
- The M1 and M2 buttons which were located under the screen have now been shifted to the back panel of the device.
Unchanged Features and Options
While the controls have been restructured, the different aspects of the console still remain the same:
- Users will have the option to own the original version with the d-pad positioned on top.
- All previously announced color options remain unchanged.
- The core hardware specifications like, the 120Hz OLED and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip keep their integrity.
