Samsung Pinpoints the Ideal Focus Areas for the Galaxy S26 Series

At a Q3 2025 financial results conference Samsung Mobile Division Vice President Daniel Araújo announced an official preview of the Galaxy S26 line of smartphones. He held that the new flagships would be a very significant step in user experience.

Core Pillars of the Galaxy S26

According to Araújo, the Galaxy S26 line is going to be a user experience-revolutionizing product, to be delivered through four pillars:

  • Next-Generation AI
  • A Second-Generation Custom Processor
  • Higher Offsets
  • New Camera Sensors

Processor Details and Intelligence Leaks

The "second-generation custom processor" refers to what appears to be the next 2nm Exynos 2600, which is expected to be used in future Galaxy S26 models.

However, earlier leaks have suggested that the processors would be split. Leaks suggest that Exynos 2600 will be used for the base variant of the Galaxy S26 while Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy would be available for the higher models in the lineup.

Samsung's Big Ecosystem Strategy

In addition to S26, Araújo has touted Samsung's ongoing development of innovative new foldable devices. He touched on plans for furthering AI enhancement for Galaxy Watch smartwatches, particularly health monitoring, and mentioned the upcoming release of new TWS headphones.

Expected Release Date

The Samsung Galaxy S26 series will be officially unveiled in the early months of 2026.
