AMD Sets Record $9.2 Billion Quarter due to Robust Demand in AI, EPYC Processors
AMD recorded all-time financial results for the third quarter of 2025, with revenues of $9.2 billion, thanks to an amazing demand for its high-performance EPYC and Ryzen processors and Instinct AI accelerators.

Financial Highlights for Q3 2025
All the major figures that characterized the third quarter reflect a very solid growth from the same period last year:
- Revenue: $9.2 billion, up 36% year over year.
- GAAP Net Income: $1.2 billion.
- Non-GAAP Net Income: $2 billion.
- GAAP diluted Earnings per Share (EPS): $0.75, up 60% year over year.
- Non-GAAP Diluted Earnings per Share (EPS): $1.20, up 30% year over year.
Segment Performance: Data Center and Client Segments Soar
The growth in revenue cut across the different business segments in AMD:
- Data Center: $4.3 billion in revenue was up 22% year-over-year due to a surge in demand for the 5th Gen AMD EPYC processors and the new Instinct MI350 Series GPUs.
- Client and Gaming: Revenue climbed to $4 billion, a staggering 73% increase over last year, mainly due to Ryzen's record levels of sales coupled with strong demand for Radeon gaming GPUs.
- Embedded: Revenue $857 million, 8% lower on the year.
Winning Strategy in AI and Customer Momentum
AMD has recently underscored its main business growth engines driving its accelerated momentum into AI. These include:
- Strategic partnership with OpenAI in which AMD will contribute a megawatt 6-gigawatt facility of its GPUs for OpenAI's next generation AI infrastructure.
- Collaboration between AMD and Oracle for the first AI supercluster open to the public, powered by the AMD 'Helios' rack design.
- Enhanced partnerships with Cisco, IBM, and Cohere for deploying AI clusters at scale.
