ASRock H610M Combo Board Introduced With Dual Memory Standards Support
ASRock has unveiled a new model of motherboard, which is the H610M Combo, particularly designed for budget users and gamers entering the high price of RAM. This motherboard is distinctive as it supports previous memory standards as well as the latest standards so that builders could make use of older DDR4 modules or upgrade them to DDR5.
Flexibility with Memory and Limitations
The H610M Combo features a total of 6 memory slots, which support different ram generations. It has 4 slots for DDR5-Z4800 that could hold a maximum of 96 GB and 2 slots for DDR4-Z2666, which could hold a maximum of 64 GB. Yet again, it does not support the simultaneous working of both types of memory; either DDR4 should be it or only DDR5 modules.
Processor Compatibility and Power Supply
This motherboard is designed to support Intel Core CPUs of 12th, 13th, and 14th generation through the LGA1700 socket. The power supply to the CPU is provided by a 3+1-phase VRM.
Expansion and Connectivity Features
According to ASRock, the H610M Combo has
- PCIe Slots One PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and two PCIe 3.0 x16 slots.
- Storage One M.2 Slot (PCIe Gen 3 x4) and four SATA Ports.
- Video Outputs A whole collection including HDMI, DisplayPort, and DVI-D and D-Sub cables are used.
- USB Many ports in many revisions goes under the name of USB.
