Dell Launches Two Budget-Friendly Gaming Monitors Featuring Fast IPS Displays

Dell has just added more models into the family of gaming monitors - SE2426HG and SE2726HG. They are Fast IPS panels with high refresh rates, engraved with AMD FreeSync Premium technology. These specifications allow them to deliver great quality gaming while remaining in line with the prices of common monitors.

Common Technical Specifications

Essentially, both the monitors differ solely in size. The SE2426HG is 23.8 inches whereas the SE2726HG measures 27 inches diagonally. All other performance specifications are the same for both monitors:

  • Resolution: 1920x1080
  • Refresh Rate: 240 Hz
  • Response Time: 0.5 ms (GtG)
  • Panel Type: Fast IPS
  • Brightness: 300 nits with HDR10 support
  • Color Gamut: 99% sRGB coverage
  • Viewing Angles: 178 degrees horizontal and vertical

Features and Connectivity

Anti-glare screen coating and blue light- and flicker-reduction technologies have also been incorporated into both monitors. On the connectivity end, both displays possess two HDMI 2.1 ports and yet another one DisplayPort 1.4.

A 1.8-meter HDMI cable is included in the deal. The stand provided can adjust to different heights and swivel angles; also compatible to a 100x100 mm VESA mount alternative setup.

Pricing and Availability

The Dell SE2426HG and SE2726HG were introduced in China. Pricing for both models is as follows:
