Honor TWS Headphones Launched as Standalone Device
Honor has now launched another weird gadget under its Choice brand a TWS headphone for completely independent operation from a smartphone. This is in accordance with the company's pattern of launching strange devices.
Key Features of the New Headset
Initial information suggests the device is built around the idea of a self-sufficient gadget rather than a simple accessory. Its core features appear to include:
- Phone-free operation: It is believed that the headset has a SIM card slot and that it must be able to make and receive calls.
- Built-in display: Charging case is fitted with its own screen which displays various application icons, such as calls, messages, gallery, and camera.
These features indicate Honor's efforts to try to not only transform the category of headphones into a fully independent device but also to develop a traditional hybrid type of product, having already released a computer mouse that included a headset inside it.
Complete Announcement Details
The new TWS-dependent headphones are set to launch fully on January 5 at a major event. The Honor Power 2 smartphone is expected to be disclosed at that event, too, with reports claiming it will house a 10,080 mAh battery.
