Infinix Teams Up with Pininfarina for New Flagship Smartphone Line
During Business of Design Week 2025, Infinix announced a fascinating partnership with Italian design house Pininfarina. The partnership intends to develop a series of devices that are redefine premium mobile offerings, starting with the forthcoming flagship model Infinix NOTE 60 Ultra.
Merging Mobile Tech with Iconic Italian Design
Pininfarina is entering the mobile space with a 95-year industrial design, historically known for styling iconic cars, such as the Ferrari Testarossa and the Alfa Romeo Spider. This collaboration intends to bring that heritage into the aesthetics of the contemporary smartphone.
Describing the partnership as a very important step toward the premiumization of its brand, Toni Zhao, the CEO of Infinix, said: "Our partnership with Pininfarina will be one important step in strengthening the design foundation of our future products, starting with the NOTE 60 series." He said that the company wants to establish a "new aesthetic benchmark" for future flagship devices.
Market Expansion and Upcoming Releases
The partnership coincides with an expanding Infinix. According to the IDC Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker, Infinix recently topped the charts to become the fastest growing mobile brand in Southeast Asia within a single quarter. Partnering with reputable co-architects such as Pininfarina is in line with this strategy: sustaining the company's growth and elevating its product positioning.
