Motorola's Next Flagship Named 'Signature', Appears on Geekbench
The name associated with Motorola's forthcoming flagship smartphone is, ominously enough, Signature, and it seems to be designed to replace the Edge 70 Ultra. The name and major specifications of the device surfaced recently following a listing on Geekbench benchmark platform.
Performance Benchmarks and Core Specifications
The Geekbench results give a fair indication of internal hardware on the phone:
- Processor: The chipset in the device is Snapdragon 8 Gen 5.
- Memory and OS: The testing device has had 16GB of RAM and runs on Android 16.
- Benchmark Scores: It received 2854 points in a single-thread test and 9411 in a multi-thread. Such scores further corroborate performance expectations from high-end devices expected to launch toward the end of 2025.
Leaked Design and Camera Details
The benchmark has also had leaks that suggest the Motorola Signature will keep a design in the same line as that of the existing Edge series. The phone is said to have a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Other rumored details are slim build s and a rectangular triple-camera housing at the back that might accommodate three 50 MP sensors.
Official Teaser and Announcement
Alongside the benchmark appearance, Motorola has started its first teaser for the device in the Indian market. Full official announcement for the Motorola Signature is expected to take place on December 28.
