MSI Presents The Next Prestige Laptops Fueled by Intel Panther Lake

MSI and Intel hosted joint publicity in New York to showcase the Prestige sample laptops for 2026. These new laptops shall feature an upcoming generation of processors called Intel's Panther Lake Core Ultra Series 3 processors, built using the process technology of 18A.

Processor and Performance

While specific SKU numbers are yet to be released by MSI, reports from the event confirmed the inclusion of these processors into Prestige models for 2026. This is a platform intended to couple the battery efficiency features of Lunar Lake chips with the mobile performance levels of Arrow Lake. It will feature a variety of processor and memory configurations to meet different end-user needs.

Display Technology and Battery Life

Efficiency and great visuals were tops on the list for the new Prestige. It has Premium OLED Panels.

  • High brightness and refresh rates: Screens
  • Multi-Frequency Technology: This is how the Panther Lake system uses to change the frequencies of the display in order to increase battery life.
  • Smart Power HDR: HDR consumption goes down with this particular feature added to the system.

MSI adds that their projection on battery life for these machines is over 24 hours. The company also mentioned that this energy saving would favor handheld gaming devices such as the next-generation MSI Claw also expected to feature Core Ultra Series 3 chips.

Design and Dimensions

The new Prestige is just as much about portability as it is about anything else. In 13-inch, 14-inch, and 16-inch variants, the series will include:

  • Thickness: The 16-inch model is only 13.9mm thick.
  • Weight: The large version is less than 1.6kg, while the smaller variants weigh under 1kg.

Availability

Hence, MSI and others are expected to host their launches of Panther Lake products in CES 2026.
