OnePlus Has Launched a Pad Go 2 Tablet for Productivity and Entertainment Needs

The Pad Go 2 is an affordable tablet specifically designed for students and users who require a multi-purpose work-study-entertainment device a new OnePlus Pad Go model with stylus support and cellular function now enters the Pad Go fold.

Displays and Stylus Features

The device is designed around a 12.1-inch screen with a 7:5 aspect ratio-an aspect optimized for reading books and working on texts. The main features of the display are:

  • Color Nearly complete DCI-P3 color gamut coverage
  • HDR Support from Dolby Vision

The Pad Go 2 also adds stylus support for the series. The separately purchased OnePlus Pad Go 2 Stylo pairs with the OnePlus Notes app for handwriting input, formula recognition, and handwriting enriching.

Performance and Battery

The tablet will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset made on a 4nm fabrication process. OnePlus claims that the device has received a TÜV SÜD Fluency certification, thus indicating that it will run stably and smoothly for several years coming.

The juice is delivered from a 10,050 mAh battery, which can run up to 15 hours for video playback or over two days on normal activity. It supports charging of 33W.

Connectivity and Cellular Functionality

The OnePlus Pad Go 2 will be sold in lavender and black editions. The Shadow Black version has a SIM card slot, providing a few significant features:

  • 5G network connectivity
  • Direct phone calls and messaging from the tablet
  • Mobile internet access without tethering.

Smart connected feature on the device allows the tablet to automatically switch to the mobile data of any OnePlus smartphone. This method reportedly consumes 30% less power than standard data sharing.
