Redmi Note 15 Pro and Note 15 Pro 5G Announced for Global Market
Redmi has officially announced the global launch of Note 15 Pro and Note 15 Pro 5G for the global market. Both models bring with them larger batteries, higher-megapixel cameras, bright AMOLED displays, and integrated Xiaomi AI features.
Display Specs
The two models display features slightly different configurations. Both boast a 120Hz refresh rate, 3200 nits peak brightness, and 12-bit color depth.
- Note 15 Pro 5G: 6.88-inch AMOLED with a 1.5K resolution.
- Note 15 Pro: 6.77-inch AMOLED with an FHD+ resolution.
Performance, Battery, and Charging
Core hardware runs differently in the twin sets of 5G and 4G. Featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Ultra chip and a 6,580 mAh battery, the Note 15 Pro 5G stands apart from the standard Note 15 Pro using a MediaTek Helio G200 Ultra processor and a 6,500 mAh battery.
Both devices support 45W fast charging. The 5G model does reverse charging at 22.5W while the 4G offers 18W.
Camera Systems
Both rear camera setups are the same across the two models, and include a 200 MP main sensor (ISOCELL S5KHPE) and an 8 MP ultra-wide camera. Front camera resolutions vary as follows:
- Note 15 Pro 5G: 32 MP front camera.
- Note 15 Pro: 20 MP front camera.
Software, Audio, Package, and Durability
Software-wise, both phones run Android 15 based on Xiaomi HyperOS 2.0. It brings along the suite of AI tools including AI Erase Pro, AI Remove Reflection, and AI Image Expansion. Finally, the devices have been equipped with Dolby Atmos-supported speakers for audio.
In terms of durability ratings, the Note 15 Pro is rated IP65 for water dust resistance, while the IP rating of Note 15 Pro 5G is higher, at IP68 and IP69K.
Colors and European Pricing
The Redmi Note 15 Pro comes in gold, blue, and black. The 5G version is available in the same color but adds a purple option.
