AniMe Holo Fan System

However, the most publicized feature of the ROG G1000 is the AniMe Holo system, which is touted as ''the world's first holographic fan system in a pre-built gaming PC'' and consists of three very large fans enclosed individually in separate and isolated glass chambers to isolate sound and vibration.

  • One 380mm side fan with 680 LEDs.
  • Two 215mm front fans with 384 LEDs each.

These fans are statically balanced so that they are practically invisible when spinning, allowing the integrated LEDs to project custom holographic patterns and animations. The system is capable of MP4, PNG, JPG, and GIF files and can be commanded via its dedicated key on the chassis or through Armoury Crate software.

Thermal Architecture ROG Thermal Atrium

For controlling the heat generated from the premium components, ASUS introduced a new cooling architecture called ROG Thermal Atrium. At the top of the chassis is built a dedicated cooling chamber that houses a 420mm AIO liquid cooler. This architecture is said to achieve up to 16 degrees lower CPU temperatures and 100% increased airflow compared to previous ROG gaming desktops.

The AIO will be joined by two 200mm front intake fans, one 140mm bottom intake, and one 140mm exhaust for comprehensive cooling.

Chassis Design and Dimensions

The ROG G1000 is a massive ultra tower - 61.48cm (H) x 29.00cm (W) x 58.27cm (L). The build features a tool-less design and uses standard-sized components simplifying upgrades and accessories in the future.

Availability

The ASUS ROG G1000 will be released in black. Pricing and specific availability details are yet to be disclosed.
