Power Zone 2 and Pure Power 13 M Power Supply Introductions
The Power Zone 2 and Pure Power 13 M power supplies have just been announced by be quiet. Both power supplies, having these modular designs, deliver a maximum of 1200W while remaining silent with respect to the latest references of ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards. These supplies differ in terms of their design and 80 Plus efficiency certification.
The be quiet! Power Zone 2
The Power Zone 2 is said to be 80 Plus Platinum certified, claiming 94.3% efficiency. The cooling system relies on a 140mm Pure Wings 3 fan working in semi-passive mode that turns on only under high load and continues running from 2 to 5 minutes after the load is gone to help keep the components alive.

The Pure Power 13 M is an 80 Plus Gold-certified model that claims 93.5% efficiency. LLC combined with SR and DC-to-DC topologies are employed to provide stable power. The cooling is done via a 120mm semi-passive fan designed by be quiet!.
