CannonKeys Announces Motorway, the New Ultra-Compact 40% Keyboard

In announcing this, CannonKeys said today that they have launched Bullet Train- new mechanical keyboards with the form factor of 40%. Along with reduced size, the model is compact enough for gaming or typing.

Designing and Special Features

As with a sturdy aluminum case, the Bullet Train comes equipped with low-profile Gateron KS-33 switches.

  • Arrangement: 40% layout; includes top row with only six numerical keys; have unique split space bar design.
  • Hot Swappable Switches: The switches can be changed with no soldering by the user, a main feature noted by the producer.
  • Case Material: The keyboard is built inside an aluminum case.

Versions and Connectivity

Special cases of the keyboard will be available according to users' preferences:

  • A standard wired model equipped with QMK firmware for programming.
  • A wireless model.

Prices, Colors, and Availability

The CannonKeys Bullet Train will be launched globally on February 5. The model will have five color options: black, green, purple, pink, and silver.
