Dreame Reveals Modular Action Camera Leaptic Cube with 8K Footage
Dreame has introduced an action camera called Leaptic Cube that comes with an option of a detachable display module. Designed for long-distance wireless connectivity for battery life efficiency and an AI-based feature suite for better image quality.
Design and Modularity
The two units of the Leaptic Cube are connected magnetically:
- Camera Module: With a sensor up to 50 MP (1/1.3″, f/2.8), dynamic ranging 13.5 stops wide, and sight angle 155°.
- Display Module: It has a 2.27-inch display, and has an auxiliary battery. It runs the life of the cameras from 90 minutes to a total of 200 minutes which include both modules.
When the two modules are completely separated still, they still use the ProSync protocol to communicate at a distance of up to 30 meters. The display also serves as a viewfinder and enables the setting up of shooting modes from the customer interface.
Performance and AI Features
The unnamed 4-nm processor powers the AI functions. AI applications of the camera include beautification, scene optimization, object tracking, and general enhancement of photos and videos.
Usability and Storage
This camera has for answering commands via gestures and other natural language speech commands a called Moko smart assistant. Internal memory can either be an option of 64 GB or 128 GB, together with an expandable microSD card up to 1TB.

Dreame has not yet released detailed specs, price, or date of availability for the Leaptic Cube action camera.
