Hytale's Future Secured by Pre-Orders Ahead of Early Access Launch
This means that after a long development period, the construction game Hytale expects to start Early Access financially strong. According to Hypixel co-founder, pre-order sales had already raised enough funds to guarantee the title at least two years of support.

The revenues from pre-orders, which sell for between $20 and $70, provided the much-needed budget for the immediate future of Hypixel. He stated that the funds could sustain the game for at least 10 years.

The Project Revived
The game's journey toward this point has definitely been rocky. Collins-Laflamme revealed that the project was literally put on hold summers by its last developer-Riot Games-in 2025 after being developed for almost a decade. Then, he stepped in personally to save the game from being thrown away.
Collins-Laflamme purchased the intellectual property rights belonging to Riot, founded a team of nearly fifty people, and decided to revert build back to an earlier development stage of the game.
