LG Launches 2026 OLED TV Range With a 9mm Wireless Wall Mounted TV
LG Electronics presented the 2026 collection of TVs, led by the LG OLED evo W6 wireless wallpaper TV with an astonishing 9mm thickness. The new signature range, which includes the G6 and C6 models, complements the new technology and picture quality enhancement, strengthening LG's foothold on the premium TV market.
LG OLED Evo W6 Super-Slim and Purely Wireless
The top-of-the-line W6 model is an all-in-one product with the design like that of a pencil in thickness. Ultra-slim technology has been applied to all components panel, power board, motherboard, and built-in speakers, all enabling seamless wall mounting.
- Wireless Technology The W6 employs proprietary wireless technology to deliver lossless and lag-free 4K video at 165Hz refresh rate along with audio.
- Zero Connect Box All peripheral devices connect to the Zero Connect Box, which is now 35% smaller than the one used in the previous wireless TVs.
Picture Quality Upgrades for 2026
The whole 2026 LG OLED evo collection (W6, G6, C6) features enormous enhancements in picture quality based on new hardware and software.
Hyper Radiant Color Technology
This new technology integrates two basic elements for enhanced image quality and diminished reflection.
- 3rd Generation Alpha 11 AI Processor Currently, this is most powerful OLED processor by LG. It has a dual AI engine with 'Dual Super Upscaling' for a clear natural texture. The NPU performance is 5.6 times faster than that of the previous generation and the graphics processing is enhanced by 70%. It enables screen brightness to be elevated to 3.9 times higher than that of LG's general OLED models.
- Reflection Free Premium Display The display extinguishes the reflected light using an anti-reflection layer greatly reducing glare. This is the first in the world to receive 'Reflection Free Premium 2' Certification from Intertek.
Gaming Features and webOS Updates
The 2026 OLED evo lineup is keeping in step with LG's dedication to fast gaming performance and smart TV capabilities.
- Gaming Enhancements The TVs support NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium for smooth gameplay. They also feature a 0.1ms response time and Automatic Low-Latency Mode (ALLM).
- Multi-AI for webOS In addition to Microsoft Copilot, LG is adding Google Gemini onto its webOS26 platform, allowing users to choose their customized AI engine for queries and concierge operations.
- Security and Upgrades The platform is guarded by the 'LG Shield' security system. The 'webOS Renewal Program,' giving OS upgrades to even more users from LG, will continue.
