First Details Emerge on NVIDIA ARM Laptops from Lenovo and Dell

The first information about the first laptops that use NVIDIA ARM processors has been released to the public. NVIDIA has provided fresh information about upcoming projects because it is now executing its plan to enter the Windows laptop market. At least eight laptop models are reportedly in development which uses NVIDIA's N1 and N1X ARM processors that were co-developed with MediaTek.

The Lenovo Models Have Been Disclosed Through Leaked Internal Documents

Lenovo internal documents which have been leaked show that the company is developing six laptop models which use NVIDIA N1 and N1X chips. The affected product lines include:

  • IdeaPad Slim
  • Yoga Pro
  • Yoga 9
  • Legion 7 (gaming series)

The name "Legion 7 15N1X11" has already appeared in Lenovo's service tools where the "N1X" designation signifies the higher-end version of the processor. The new NVIDIA chips will power at least eight laptops which Dell and Alienware have already announced.

Reported Performance of the N1X Chip

Geekbench has released its first preliminary data which shows that the N1X processor has extremely high processing power. The leaked specifications include:

  • 20 CPU cores
  • A graphics unit with CUDA cores comparable to the desktop GeForce RTX 5070

If these specifications are confirmed NVIDIA will provide laptops which deliver graphics performance that matches gaming machines with dedicated graphics processing units.

Future Plans and Release Timeline

NVIDIA will unveil its first generation of ARM-powered laptops which use NVIDIA technology in spring 2026. NVIDIA has begun designing its next ARM processor generation which includes the N2 and N2X systems for 2027 product release.
