NVIDIA Promotes DLSS 4.5 Support, Major Updates for GeForce Now Introduced

NVIDIA has announced a dual takedown to its gaming ecosystem the GeForce Game Ready 591.74 driver giving DLSS 4.5 for all RTX GPUs, and the GeForce Now cloud gaming service with other major considerations, such as new platforms and AAA titles.

GeForce Game Ready 591.74 Driver with DLSS 4.5

The new Game Ready driver enables NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 for AI Super Resolution across 400-plus supported games. This ML version uses 2nd generation Transformer technology for better image quality, better temporal stability, less ghosting, and improved edge smoothness.

Do note that MFG 6X and Dynamic MFG form a part of the larger entity of DLSS 4.5 but will be part of the driver release scheduled for Spring 2026.

Driver Bug Fixes

Other notable known issues fixed in the 591.74 release include:

  • Game Fix: Fixes for game stability issues in Arena Breakout Infinite.
  • General Fixes:
    • Fixes brightness adjustment problems on various displays.
    • Fixes an issue whereby the color was not being tagged correctly with the use of Digital Vibrance.
    • Fixes minor banding observable on gradients in SDR color mode.
    • Fixes a bug where deselecting "Show Notification Tray Icon" from the NVIDIA Control Panel UI failed to register.
    • Fixes an issue for black screens when using RTX HDR in Vulkan games on LG OLED TVs.

Announced at CES 2026, NVIDIA has expanded its GeForce Now cloud gaming service with new clients, features, and games.

New Platform Support and Features

To ensure broader accessibility, NVIDIA is making the following changes:

  • Native GeForce Now client for Linux and Fire TV platforms.
  • Flight controls are supported.
  • New Single Sign-On support for services like Battle.net.

New Games for RTX 5080 Tier

Subscribers of the GeForce Now RTX 5080 tier will get a considerable number of other newly launched AAA titles, among them:

  • Resident Evil Requiem
  • 007 First Light
  • Crimson Desert
  • Active Matter

The RTX 5080 tier, at a price of $19.99 per month, is currently available across North America, Europe, and Japan. It allows streaming up to 5K at 120 FPS or 1080p at 360 FPS with features like RTX ON, HDR, and NVIDIA Reflex.
