Rapoo Has Just Unveiled Its Flagship Gaming Mouse, the VT3s Max Master Edition
Rapoo has officially launched the new flagship mouse in its series of VT3s Max Master Edition gaming. This mouse combines a classical design along with the most modern internal components, including optical microswitches, the high-performance sensor, and overall an 8000 Hz polling rate.
Core Performance and Sensor
The VT3s Max Master Edition has an Ultimate sensor, the PixArt PAW3950. Some key performance metrics are the following:
- Sensitivity: 10 to 45,000 DPI.
- Tracking Speed: Rated for 750 inches per second (IPS).
- Acceleration: up to 50 G.
- Lift-Off Distance: Highly adjustable levels: 11 levels, from 0.7 to 1.7 mm.
It affords the sensor a polling rate up to 8000 Hz too, when connected with the provided USB dongle. The manufacturer states it works reliably on glass as well. The mouse and receiver use 22-nanometer Nordic 54H20 chips to better the quality of the connection.
Build and Durability
The main buttons are fitted to the optical microswitches with a rated lifespan of up to 120 million clicks. The mouse then glides on fluoroplastic made with a very high Teflon content for smooth movement.
Battery Life and Connectivity
The declared autonomy differs with regard to the polling rate:
- 1000 Hz Polling Rate: About 450 hours.
- 8000 Hz Polling Rate: About 75 hours.
Also operates in wired mode via USB-C cable. Quick-charge technology empowers the mouse with up to 4 hours of usage from a one-minute charge.
Software and Customization
The mouse can be customized with Rapoo's A Hub software, which can be installed on both Windows and macOS computers. The app allows users to remap buttons and customizing many other features including even the movement parameters of X and Y axes in isolation.
Pricing and Availability
The Rapoo VT3s Max Master Edition is currently available for pre-order in China at a price of $72. The date for the global launch has yet to be announced.
