Sylvox 4K Frameless Outdoor TV Series Updated for Sunlit Viewing
The first updates with the 4K Frameless Outdoor TV Series are now made by Sylvox for Sunlit Viewing. Sylvox introduced its 4K Frameless Outdoor TV series at the CES show in New York. The latest model is designed to be mounted outdoors and is viewable under both direct and indirect sunlight. The series has different sizes, measuring 43 inches, 55 inches, 65 inches, and 75 inches.
Built for Robustness and Weatherproof
These televisions suffer severely from how adverse climate conditions can affect them. Durability features include the following:
- IP Rating: The TV unit can be rated at IP56 dust-and-waterproof ratings, and the remote controls fall under the category of IP66 ratings.
- Temperature Tolerance: They are designed to operate in temperatures from –22°F to 122°F (–30°C to 50°C).
- Internals Protected: The motherboards are entirely encased so that there is no damage from damp weather, salt, and mold.
- Design: The TVs have extremely narrow 1.5 mm bezels that give the impression of being frameless.
Display Technology for Outdoor Visibility
To ensure the image can be seen even in bright conditions, such as sunlight, several key technologies have been incorporated by Sylvox.
- High Brightness: The lineup has been simplified into two tiers. Those basic units output 1,000 nits, and the Pro model delivers a maximum brightness of 2,000 nits.
- Backlight Control: All models use local dimming to provide better contrast for the backlight.
- Anti-Glare Screen: Compact, these IPS LCD panels are processed with a matte anti-glare surface to eliminate mirror effects.
- Viewing Angle: The viewing angle of the IPS panels is 178º.
Smart Features and Audio
It features current smart TV functionalities and audio ends.
- Operating System: The internal Google TV owns the rights to the appliance's media streaming applications, which will be voice controlled through Assistant.
- Sound: Through dual 12-watt speakers with Dolby Atmos support, audio is transmitted.
- Ambient Display: Using simple AI wallpaper generation, new art can be made that will show on the screen when not in use.
