XGIMI on the MemoMind AR Smart Glasses Release at CES 2026
Originally a projector company, now XGIMI struts its stuff by launching its new line of augmented reality smart eyeglasses dubbed MemoMind. Much like every product launched at CES 2026, the eyeglasses are ideal for everyday use and are sleek enough to be virtually indistinguishable from any other eyewear.
Models and Design Features
The MemoMind line is launched with two models that will suit different user needs:
- Memo One: The premium version featuring dual eye displays and built-in speakers.
- Memo Air: More affordable and lightweight at only 28.9 grams, and real single display.
Both models offer customized solutions through eight different frame sizes as well as fully compatible prescription lenses offered separately.
Technology and AI Functionalities
The glasses employ a waveguide display technology for projecting information into the view of the user. This serves as the primary interface for an integrated AI assistant.
Here are the major functions that will be performed by the AI assistant:
- Live translation
- Note taking
- Reminder setting
The system will automatically choose the best AI solution for a job, switching between OpenAI, Azure, and Qwen.
Pricing and Availability
The MemoMind smart glasses will open pre-ordering in March 2026, and the price of starting devices is set at $599, with prescription lenses available for a separate purchase.
