Zotac Announces Zbox Magnus EAMAX Mini PC with AMD Strix Halo APUs
Zotac has officially introduced the Zbox Magnus EAMAX series, a new line of mini PCs designed for high performance within a compact 2.65-liter chassis. The new systems use AMD Strix Halo processors that provide maximum memory capacity and multiple connection options.
Performance and Models
The series is headlined by the Magnus EAMAX395C, the top-tier configuration. The system contains a Ryzen AI MAX+ 395 processor and 128 GB of LPDDR5X RAM memory. The system's NPU (126 TOPS) together with its Radeon RX 8060S graphics solution provides the capability to handle both 1080p gaming and multiple artificial intelligence tasks.
The series includes two entry-level models which use the Ryzen AI MAX 390 processor and Ryzen AI MAX 385 processor as their power source.
Connectivity and Expansion
The Magnus EAMAX designs all provide identical connectivity and expansion capabilities that enable users to establish multiple connections and boost system performance.
- The system supports three M.2 slots which operate at PCIe 4.0x4 for storage expansion.
- The system provides two 2.5 Gbps Ethernet ports together with a Wi-Fi 7 module for networking purposes.
- The system includes one 40 Gbps USB4 port and five USB 3.2 Type-A ports to provide USB connectivity.
- The system includes two DisplayPort 1.4 ports and two HDMI 2.1 ports to enable display connection.
- The system includes a combination headphone/microphone jack.
Configuration and Availability
Zotac will offer the Magnus EAMAX in two formats: a base configuration for users to customize, and a pre-configured version with a 1 TB NVMe SSD and Windows 11 pre-installed.
The company has not yet shared any information about product pricing or disclosed the official release date.
