GMKtec NucBox K13 Mini PC Features Intel Lunar Lake Platform and Local AI Support
GMKtec has introduced its first mini PC named NucBox K13 For Global market after chinese launch which runs on Intel Lunar Lake platform. The system uses Intel Core Ultra 7 256V processor to manage local AI tasks and professional work in a small design. The brand shifts its focus to products that use less power while enabling AI functions.
The NucBox K13 system uses Intel Core Ultra 7 256V processor as its central processing unit which contains 8 cores and 8 threads. The chip belongs to the Series 2 (Lunar Lake) family and it contains the Intel AI Boost NPU. The system provides 115 AI TOPS which lets users perform local AI tasks, automate processes, and handle complex operations without needing cloud services.
The integrated Intel Arc 140V GPU handles all graphic processing tasks. The built in solution enables modern video games to run at acceptable frame rates while providing hardware acceleration for creative software.
The device comes with 16GB of LPDDR5X memory clocked at 8533 MT/s. The memory found in Lunar Lake processor package gives integrated memory access to faster data transmission speeds while reducing data access time for memory intensive operations. The storage system supports three different options which include
- Dual Slots The system has two available slots for M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD drives. Storage capacity supports users who need to expand their data storage requirements up to 16TB.
- Base Models The system starts with pre installed SSD options of 512GB or 1TB storage capacity.
The NucBox K13 has dimensions of 18.6 cm in length and a weight of 523 grams. The device includes extensive I/O options which enable it to function as GMKtecs first mini PC with a 5 GbE LAN port for high speed networking. The system supports multiple connectivity features which include
- Video Output The system supports three 4K display setups through HDMI 2.1 and two USB4 ports which have Alt DP capability.
- Charging The USB4 ports allow power delivery of 100W through PD 3.0 standard.
- Legacy I/O The device has multiple USB Type A and Type C ports for connecting peripherals. The system includes a physical reset button which lets users perform BIOS factory resets quickly.
The NucBox K13 starts at $669 for its base model which includes 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD storage according to GMKtec. The 1TB storage option is priced at $719. The two device configurations have been designed for users who need a portable high performance AI ready desktop system.
