MSI Spatium M571 DLP High Speed PCIe 5.0 SSD with Power Loss Safeguards
MSI introduced the Spatium M571 DLP, which serves as a high speed SSD that operates through the PCIe 5.0 x4 connection. The drive operates at maximum speed through its Phison E28 controller and Kioxia TLC 3D NAND components while maintaining data integrity by using Data Loss Protection (DLP) technology during unexpected power interruptions.
The M571 DLP series provides its entire product line with a maximum linear read speed of 14,500 MB/s and a write speed of 11,000 MB/s. The IOPS and endurance ratings differ according to capacity despite the two models achieving identical maximum performance
- 1 TB Model The system uses 1 GB DRAM cache to achieve 1,300,000 IOPS (read) with a 700 TBW endurance limit.
- 2 TB Model The system uses 2 GB DRAM cache to achieve 2,500,000 IOPS (read) with a 1,400 TBW endurance limit.
- 4 TB Model The system uses 4 GB DRAM cache to achieve 2,600,000 IOPS (read) with a 2,800 TBW endurance limit.
The Spatium M571 DLP primary capability depends on its operational reliability structure. The Data Loss Protection system protects the DRAM cache memory from potential data loss incidents.
