The TH99 Pro features a 96% layout with 98 keys. The dimensions are approximately 41cm (L) x 14.5cm (W) x 4.7cm (H). While available in blue, white, or pink, the model reviewed here features a sleek black colorway. It exudes a professional, grounded feel.
The build is primarily solid ABS plastic with a centered aluminum plate on the bottom. However, it is surprisingly heavy, weighing in at over 1.12kg (aprox. 2.5 lbs). This heft ensures the keyboard stays firmly anchored to the desk during high stakes gaming or intensive data entry. It includes rubber feet to prevent slipping and two-stage adjustable feet for ergonomic typing angles.
The keyboard features Cherry profile PBT keycaps which use double shot technology. The material has been engineered to prevent grease and wear so it will preserve its high end texture for extended periods. The colorway combines grey and black for alphas and modifiers while adding colorful keys which include a pink Escape and yellow Enter keys and multicolored arrow keys (Blue, Pink, Orange, Purple). The color coding system visually separates different functional areas.
The TH99 Pro offers multiple connection options which serve as one of its most impressive features. The device functions as a Tri Mode keyboard which enables three different connection methods
- Wired via USB Type C
- Bluetooth 5.0 connects to tablets or phones with a polling rate of 125Hz
- Wireless 2.4GHz requires a polling rate of 1000Hz because it serves competitive gaming purposes
The board contains switches allow users to toggle between operating modes and switch between Windows and Mac layouts. The keyboard enables users to move from PC matching to Mac creative tasks and Android texting.
Battery Monster
The keyboard weighs extra because it contains a dormitory 10,000 mAh battery which represents the largest power capacity found in its category. The battery provides outstanding longevity because it delivers 170 to 200 hours of use with RGB lights disabled. The charging cable will not be required from you.
Typing Experience
The keyboard provides its typing experience through a gasket mounted system which utilizes five layers of sound optimized technology. The internal structure uses poron and latex and silicone materials to create shock absorbing properties which prevent metallic pings and extreme vibrations from interrupting a balanced sound experience.
The Switches
The board comes equipped with Epomaker Sea Salt Silent V2 switches. The switches produce silent operation which creates an extremely quiet atmosphere. The switches operate best in open office environments and shared living spaces and stealth gaming situations. The product achieves complete silence however some users who enjoy the mechanical key sound will find it dissimilar to their preferences. The PCB permits hot swapping which lets you change switches later with any linear or tactile or clicky switches you prefer to use.
The top right corner houses a precision engineered metal rotary knob and a 1.06-inch smart LCD screen, serving as a digital command center.
- The Knob: Cool to the touch and smooth. By default, it adjusts volume and mutes audio. Pressing Fn + Knob allows you to take control of the LCD screen.
- The Screen: It displays vital info like date, time, battery status, connection mode, and OS mode. It can also display custom animated GIFs or images.

Customization is handled through a web based driver/software. This is a huge plus as it allows you to customize the screen (you can add images, videos or even gifs), manage RGB effects, and record complex macros without downloading a program. You can automate repetitive Excel strings or multi hit game combos easily.
Lighting
The keyboard uses south facing RGB lighting. Although it includes a bright RGB strip around the back and sides with an impressive underglow effect, the illumination does not pass through the keycap legends. As a result, the keys can be harder to see in low light conditions.
Critiques
Despite its high quality, there are minor usability issues. The USB-C port is located dead center on the back, which might conflict with monitor stands. The LCD screen, while useful, is quite small (under 2 inches), making it difficult to read text like the date without leaning in. Finally, due to the massive battery and weight, this is strictly a stationary desk keyboard and not suitable for travel.
