The game Etrange Overlord introduces itself as the most joyful chaotic game which the company has ever created. The game combines realtime action with strategic party management and a weird sense of humor to create an enjoyable gaming experience which Broccoli and Gem Drops developed under the direction of Sohei Niikawa who created Disgaea and Rhapsody A Musical Adventure.

The story centers around our protagonist Etrange von Rosenberg. Once the Dukes sweet daughter she gets falsely accused of killing the king and faces execution. She determines that conquering the underworld represents her most reasonable option.
