The flagship Omen Max 45L gaming desktop has been updated to include the latest Intel Arrow Lake hardware. The users now have the ability to configure their system with the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus processor. The graphics options now include the RTX 5090D V2 which comes with 24 GB of GDDR7 memory. The available graphics configurations include the RTX 5080 and the RTX 5070 Ti along with the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT option for users who want different graphics hardware. The Omen Max 45L presents a sophisticated storage system which integrates PCIe Gen 5 NVMe SSDs with conventional SATA hard drives to achieve its highest storage potential. The system can be powered through different power supply options which reach a maximum of 1200 Watts and they hold a Platinum rating for efficient performance. The desktop computer provides connectivity through Thunderbolt 4 and Wi Fi 7 as well as Bluetooth 6.0 and a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port. Both mini PCs prioritize high capacity memory and storage despite their small chassis. The Intel variant supports up to 64 GB of DDR5 6400 memory whereas the AMD version is capped at DDR5 5600 speeds for the same capacity. The system supports storage through three PCIe Gen 4 slots which enable total storage capacity of 6 TB by utilizing three 2 TB drives. The two models differ in power delivery because the Intel unit needs a 180 Watt barrel pin connector while the AMD unit operates with a 120 Watt power adapter. The two systems support 100 Watt USB C charging which provides users with extra charging options. HP expects both models to be available for purchase in April 2026.
