The Intel Arc Pro B70 and B65 GPUs serve as Intels response to Nvidias dominance in the artificial intelligence workstation market. Intel officially entered the premium AI workstation market today at Pro Day 2026 in New York. The company introduced the Arc Pro B70 and Arc Pro B65 graphics cards which are both based on the new Xe2 Battlemage architecture. The products serve the purpose of enabling local artificial intelligence inference and professional visualization work. The flagship B70 model arrives with a suggested price of 949 dollars and represents Intels most significant push into professional hardware to date.

The Intel Arc Pro B70 uses the Battlemage silicon technology to its maximum potential by providing 32 Xe cores and 32 Ray Tracing Units. The system operates with a 32GB GDDR6 memory which uses a 256 bit interface to deliver 608 GB per second memory bandwidth. The cards memory capacity functions as its main advantage because it enables users to run larger language models on local hardware compared to what previous systems allowed. The Arc Pro B65 provides professional users with a base level of access through its 32GB memory and 24 Xe cores system which uses a 192 bit interface.

The company dedicated its resources to developing AI performance metrics that its products would demonstrate when they were released for public use. The Arc Pro B70 delivers 367 total TOPS of compute power and significantly outperforms the competition in context window capacity. The B70 allowed testing of the Llama 3.1 8B model at a 93K context length which exceeded the maximum capacity of Nvidia RTX Pro 4000 Blackwell by more than double. The system enables researchers to analyze extensive datasets directly on their computers without experiencing any memory shortages. The card achieves response speeds that are 6.2 times faster when multiple users or agents request data at the same time.

The Arc Pro B65 is scheduled to follow in mid April 2026. The cards support current technology through their four DisplayPort 2.1 outputs and PCI Express 5.0 x16 interface. The hardware allows various power consumption levels between 160 watts and 290 watts which board partners can implement according to their design choices.
